Life is like looking out the window.
From inside you can see what’s going on out there.
But you don’t live ‘out there.’
The eyes merely show you what’s outside of you.
You live inside.
“You live in your mind”
A client said to me this week.
In all truth, I learn as much from clients as they learn from me.
We’re all lucky that way; a ‘collective of hidden knowledge’ one says.
His point is that life is a mental game.
It’s like the phrase you learn as a kid—
Sticks and stones can break your bones but names can never hurt me.
What’s happening out there only becomes YOUR life when you let it inside.
Living the ‘world mind’
I don’t think social media is as terrible as some say.
I’d say it merely reflects the collective mental state of its users.
Social media doesn’t create that state but it does reflect and amplify this ‘world mind.’
In many ways it could be a wonderfully positive way for people to connect.
Or like the news, it can reflect the worst of humanity.
It’s all best avoided IMO.
Fill your head with it and you live in that hellish world mind.
Or you can choose to live inside your own heavenly mind.
Yelling at a boat
A monk is angry.
Looking to calm himself he paddles his boat out to the middle of a lake to meditate.
Sitting, he finally finds that peaceful tranquility of a calm mind.
Then, thud, a boat smashes into him.
Furious he turns to yell at the other captain.
Anger boiling, already hurling abuse, he realizes the boat was floating adrift and there was no person to be angry with.
He was yelling at an empty vessel.
Another client shared this story as a way he’s ‘anchoring’ his mind control.
It’s ALL in your mind
ALL of it.
Every single thought.
Every single experience.
Every single thing that you will ever think, feel, do.
It’s ALL happening inside of you.
As a teacher once taught me when my mind was beaten down from years of abuse—
“It’s not what happens to you that matters, but what your mind makes of it.”
You can waste your life getting emotional about empty vessels.
Or you can accept that what happens out there only becomes your internal reality when you choose.
Choose heavenly
As much as I’ve tried to figure out how, I’m yet to solve how to directly transform reality with your mind.
I know this might look out there, but quantum physics points to this possibility, and that’s what I’m focused on in the Simulation—Level 5.
I’m NOT suggesting that you can directly “mould” reality with mind like in a lucid dream.
But for decades I’ve been testing in every way imaginable what are the limits to your mind for ‘constructing reality?’
A reason I share this with you here is because as far I’m concerned this is the difficult experiment.
The way less difficult task—and dare I say somewhat easy task now I’ve invested decades in building tech—is choosing to stop that external world from controlling your internal reality.
Said differently, no matter what is happening out there, you choose what happens inside you.
Controlled by a TV
When my client said that you live in your mind this is what I perceive—>
What’s out there is like a TV screen.
Yes, to be sure, it’s very REAL, which you can prove to yourself by dropping a heavy weight on your foot.
But also to be sure, it’s very much ILLUSION, in that most things out there NEVER need to impact you.
All day every day people are responding to external stimuli like watching sport yelling at the TV.
A kite dancing in a hurricane, they waste their lives triggered all over the place.
We all know it’s futile to yell at the TV or waste energy on things that you can never influence, let alone control.
Yet your social conditioning trains you to behave in these “rational” ways.
Key to transformation
Another client sent me this quote yesterday that caps off this theme—>
“The key to transformation is recognizing how trapped you are by the mind.” (Ari Kiev)
Until you see it, you’ll never see it.
Like Neo asleep inside The Matrix, you NEVER see you’re being controlled.
But once you see it, you’ll see it everywhere, and in every single thing that you think and do.
You see that ALL external stimuli is MERELY triggering what happens inside you.
And no matter what’s happening out there, you live inside the most heavenly reality that you choose.
