Do you have interests that might be a little strange to some people but are just so fascinating to you?
Many people I meet have some hobby or captivation that to other people might seem odd, but not to them.
I have a lifetime of such fascinations and one reason I do what I do is so that I can spend all of my time exploring them.
Perhaps my most intriguing area of research is going deep and deeper into the mind and exploring the nature of reality, which can lead me to far out places…
StarGate Project
The StarGate Project was a secret U.S. Army Intelligence program established in the 1970s to evaluate things one might call psychic phenomenon.
As the story goes, at the height of the Cold War our government caught wind that the Russian’s were using psychic spys to steal our secrets…
StarGate was the response, to train intelligence officers in “Remote Viewing” and do the same thing—essentially, sit in a room in the U.S, travel their consciousness to wherever they were guided, and report back on what they had “seen.”
I know this might seem pretty nuts to some people, but…
Do a little digging, and you won’t be surprised why the program lasted for nearly 20 years. THEY GOT SERIOUS RESULTS. (Don’t read the public [dis]-information, check out a book such as this one by physicist Russell Targ.)
While I admit this is a little out there, spend a bunch of years researching reality and the mind, meditating and trancing, learning some about quantum physics, and like me I think you would too conclude…
This Reality Is Not What It Appears To Be
A reason I’m here training remote viewing is to learn from this man, Joe McMoneagle.
As Remote Viewer #1 for 18 years of StarGate, McMoneagle has seen some things… Tested for decades under scientific and military scrutiny, he’s also undergone a limitless battery of formal review.
Again… I know this might seem a little wild, but so too is what led Joe to become this way.
He died. He floated outside of his body. Followed himself in an ambulance to the hospital. Watched his body die, and be brought back to life. And when he came back into his body, he could hear the thoughts of the nurse in the next room.
Of course even our best science has no way of explaining that. It’s healthy to be skeptical of what we don’t understand, but it’s also, simply, Joe’s experience of reality.
And is it really so odd? There are tons of cases like Joe. There are autistic savants who can paint the skyline of a city in great detail having just flown over it. Or prodigies who are born seemingly having mastered a skill.
Our brains are capable of things that we don’t understand. And if we don’t understand how our brains work, or what our minds even are, how can we be so “certain” of a reality that is ENTIRELY created inside them?
Limited Brains and Limitless Minds
Ostensibly, I’m training remote viewing with Joe, but I’m also here to learn more about his take on reality.
If you’ve spent just a little time exploring topics of the mind, reality, meditation, eastern and esoteric philosophy, quantum physics and so on, you know the illusion of matter is its solid-nature, when, ultimately, it is energy in vibration.
Like a fish that can’t see the water it swims in, and a human that can’t see the air we breathe, we are constantly immersed in an invisible sea of consciousness that is all around us, and indeed, is, “us.”
We of course cannot “process” this ocean of conscious energy in which we are merely a droplet, and so we can surf this reality our conscious minds create a reductionist version.
Although we are seemingly experiencing “reality,” we are in fact only experiencing what our limited senses and cognition allow.
It’s quite obvious that our eyes can only detect a tiny spectrum of visible light (e.g. you can’t see infra-red), and our ears only hear a fraction of the frequency range (e.g. dogs hear sounds we perceive not to exist), yet we can be fooled into thinking we are “fully” experiencing reality.
And Even Then…
This tiny experience of “Absolute Reality” that we reduce down to our own personal “Relative Reality” is merely a tiny fraction of the reality we are actually experiencing.
At any moment in time we can only be consciously aware of 5-9 things, or bits of information, while unconsciously your body and brain are processing some 2 million to 2 billion bits.
That’s right!!
Even though we think we are conscious, most of what’s going on with us is happening outside of our conscious awareness.
Like 99.9% of it!!!
Directing Consciousness
While it may be a little daunting to admit that we are deaf and blind in reality, what’s so special about our conscious faculty is that at every point in time we can choose exactly where to direct it.
Like, just for a moment, start to pay attention to that thing that seems to be attached to the bottom of “your” left leg, called a foot… It’s been there all along, hasn’t it? But before you started to pay attention, wasn’t it “invisible” to your conscious awareness?
Like shining a spotlight and illuminating just one part of a large room, where we direct this conscious awareness becomes our experience of reality.
“Science,” particularly quantum physics, and more learned teachers for thousands of years have known that our reality is a function of our conscious attention, and this extends to directing our awareness, or “traveling,” beyond the body.
For years I have trained to travel beyond the body, and even having achieved only limited results, I have become convinced that we can separate our sense of awareness, or “energetic body,” from our physical body.
While this might seem a real leap of faith, in fact, billions of humans have already made this leap in the context of having a soul that extends beyond this physical life!!
And while I accept this might be a little out there for some, after spending most of my adult life exploring these topics, I’m excited to learn from a man who has seen more sides to this reality than most.
How Far…
What is this reality?
How far can we stretch our minds? What are we capable of?
Ingo Swann, who pioneered StarGate and worked for our government for decades, wrote a book on remote viewing the moon.
It’s an incredible story… Far beyond what most people will even be willing to conceive.
I can’t say whether he made it up. Was wrong. Was nuts. Was dis-information.
But when you’re fascinated by such things, why wouldn’t you go and get some answers of your own?
What are some of your fascinations that you might explore more directly?
I know this is a little out there for some of you, and only you can know how far you want to go.
But I want to know everything. I want the TRUTH… I want to know what is this reality.
And how far our Limitless Minds can go!
