Pandemic
I keep hearing about a pandemic of misery.
Not just the ordinary misery of people hating their job or complaining about this or that.
But a special type of misery impacting the most vulnerable in our society we love and want to protect.
I’m curious if you’ve seen it for yourself as I keep hearing about it with friends and clients because it is about their parents.
What we’ve decoded is older people sitting at home with little to do are gorging on media that is making them terribly unhappy and even unbearable to be around.
And of course it’s not just them.
What you eat
I stopped reading media 15 years ago when I went all the way down the rabbit hole of the mind.
It was the hardest time in my brain and it became obvious how much your state of mind is impacted by everything you consume.
We all know your body reflects what you eat and your brain reflects what you feed it.
But you never know how much it’s harming you until you test by making a change.
Getting rid of the TV some 11 years ago was a best thing I ever did.
Just saying…
Not saying this is for everyone.
In fact nearly everyone gets angry at me for talking about this and want to educate me on how important it is to be informed on the most miserable things happening in our world.
It’s like telling people you don’t drink, many take it as a personal affront.
So keep in mind personal development is “personal” and only you can know what is right for you.
Just saying… you can be informed on the world by scanning headlines rather than drowning your brain in miserable media like eating a vat of fat hoping to stay in shape.

Miserable Entertainment = Depression, Insecurity, Anxiety.
That’s an acronym I came up with over the decades and you see it on the faces of just about everyone.
Feeding on the worst of the world how do you expect to feel waking up every day overloading your brain with all the world’s problems?
Thousands of years later everyone knows the purpose of the Colosseum of Rome but few get the role of media keeping billions in fight or flight?
