Imagine you could discover the secret code to unlocking your life.
A very simple understanding that enables you to get the best from yourself.
Out of yourself.
For yourself and your life.
If you knew that this one simple idea alone could hold the hidden key to all of your dreams.
Would you want it? What might you do to get it? What wouldn’t you do?
I’ve stopped at nothing to discover this…
Rosetta Stone
You may know that the Rosetta Stone is one of the most important objects in history as it holds the key to understanding the Egyptian hieroglyphs.
Although The Stone is only a simple, broken part from a larger slab, it is of immense importance.
At the time it was discovered back in 1799 we still didn’t know how to read hieroglyphs.
But for one simple reason The Stone showed us the way.
Because the same simple message was inscribed in three languages, one of which we could read, it enabled us to decode the other.
For some 15 years I’ve perceived human potential the same way.
That there is some unifying code, that when you simply understand, illuminates the hidden keys for unlocking you and your life.
This I refer to as the Rosetta Stone.
3 feet from gold
You might know this story from Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich.
It’s such a popular parable that his foundation published an entire book on it.
In short, as the story goes—
A gold miner strikes gold, he keeps digging, finds more and more, and then suddenly it stops.
Thinking he’s beat, he sells his equipment to a junkman, gives up and goes home.
The savvy junkman, however, understanding the way gold runs in veins, hires a mining engineer to help him tap back in; makes a fortune.
Point of the story isn’t just perseverance
Sometimes you keep chipping away without achieving the results you want.
You have enough of a taste that it inspires you to keep going.
But the danger of this hope / optimism is that it’s often more like desperation, as you keep needing the results to justify you keeping going.
Yet perseverance wouldn’t be perseverance if your results were guaranteed.
Just like faith wouldn’t be faith if you “knew.”
You know you must never give up too soon, but instead find more in you to keep going.
But more of what?
That’s part of the Rosetta Stone.
More will and skill
More faith.
More perseverance.
More keep going.
Yet, here’s the thing we all know.
More keep going.
More perseverance.
More faith simply isn’t enough.
Like the savvy junkman had the expertise to find the gold, often you must be better.
Said differently, will isn’t enough, you need more skill, and this too comes back to a deeper understanding of will.
What will you do?
What will you commit yourself to do?
How much will do you have to keep willing yourself to do more?
Why? Why are you willing to keep doing more?
Knowing will isn’t enough, how will you develop the skill you need to keep moving forward?
In the end looking back, what will you be satisfied you did? Who you became?
This type of will and skill will get you a long way, but there’s another definition of will you want to unlock more.
Back to the Rosetta Stone
There’s will and then there’s the esoteric definition of will.
It’s not about effort, or doing more.
But about a simple understanding that unlocks ALL of your capabilities.
Once again, the same simple word written in a different way.
I’ll write more on this…
For now I’ll simply suggest you might get closer to this understanding in the free video program for Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger.
Happy hunting 🙂
