This question I asked a group focused on longevity.
They’re all deep in these topics and my buddy Curtis who founded the business asked me to speak about this one most important thing.
Because just like I’ve seen over decades studying self-help there’s tons of noise on longevity when what matters most is, what exactly do you do?
“And how do you actually do it?” I asked them. “If your target is reducing stress, do you think night lights matter most? What does? What’s your 80/20?”
This can be hard to figure out. And even harder to actually get yourself doing. Can you change your habits? Rewire old beliefs and ways of being? Build new routines and get yourself living them every day?
Doing
It doesn’t matter what you know if you fail to actually do it! That’s an issue of the weight loss industry, trillions dollars of noise while we only get fatter.
Information is different to transformation as it demands a way of actually doing it. And then, often way harder, actually getting yourself doing it.
It’s like I wrote last week on being thankful. All of us know this is a better way of living, don’t we? But how many of us are living it?

Knowledge is impotent, doing is the secret key to unlocking your neurology.

“Every single thought.” That’s my non-negotiable. I am monitoring this brain every single moment I have the will and skill.
Every line of code is my target because there’s this one thing I’m focused on achieving in this lifetime I’m getting more certain can be achieved.
I perceive it is the most important thing you can do in your life because it brings together the most important human knowledge into this single target.

Who wants to live longer in a miserable body and brain? It’s not about how many years you live but making the most of your years.
With more years, more is possible. You get older, wiser, wealthier. You build relationships, knowledge. Have more time to chase your boldest dreams. All this is possible with more healthier years.
The quality of your life is the quality of your mind. Thinking your best, feeling your best, taking your best actions, how aren’t you living your best years?
