A sad, old, angry, only kindof funny joke. And the laugh is on us. Is this the best they can do? ## Bring Each Other Down? It’s been laughably obvious since the beginning how this will go down. So obvious I shut up talking about it. No top Democrats I’ve spoken to see it any other way. One said to me last week, I wish we’d [followed your advice and run this goat…](https://geoffblades.com/this-goat-should-run-in-2020/) ## DoA How did the [Democrats get so DoA?](https://geoffblades.com/de-blasio-will-thrash-trump/) Where are the great hopes like Barack and Kennedy who stand to drive us forward? Trump is obviously a highly flawed candidate. So why is it so hard to find a candidate who can actually beat him? He’s easily beatable… But only by a beater. The Dems have put up some two dozen no choices. They can’t even stand up their own not-fun-party let alone take Trump down. ## Please Run AOC She is by far the only Democrat who has a shot against Trump. Of course she can’t run… And she’s a very very very long long long shot… But she’s got far more hope than anyone else standing on that stage. And she’d certainly make this a lot more fun. Who in their left mind believes any of the rest can win? Know how to win? Have demonstrated the strategy and skills it takes to win? ## But Wait… There’s Still Hope They still have time to put up a winning campaign. To do such difficult things as: Um, come up with a winning slogan… Build some winning messaging. Develop some winning skills. To actually stand a chance to win.
